Pool Maintenance
This page is a starting draft — please review and finalize.
General upkeep tips to keep an inground pool clean, balanced, and running efficiently:
- Test water weekly. Check chlorine/sanitizer level, pH, and alkalinity regularly, more often in peak swim season.
- Run the filtration system daily for enough hours to turn over the full pool volume — ask us if you're not sure how long that is for your pool.
- Clean skimmer and pump baskets regularly so the system isn't working against clogged baskets.
- Brush and vacuum walls and floor to prevent algae and debris buildup.
- Backwash or clean the filter per the manufacturer's guidance when pressure rises above normal.
- Check your safety cover for proper tension and inspect anchors/springs each season.
