Warranty Information
Warranty terms come from each manufacturer, not from Atlantic Pool Supply directly — we're glad to help you reach the right manufacturer contact or walk through a claim, but the coverage itself is set by them. The details below are pulled directly from each manufacturer's own published warranty documents, linked throughout.
Merlin Safety Covers
All Merlin prorated cover warranties work the same way: within the first 24 months from the factory shipping date, Merlin repairs or replaces a defective cover at no cost. After 24 months, the owner pays a prorated share of the current retail price of a replacement cover (based on months elapsed) plus a service & handling charge, through the end of the warranty term.

Note: Merlin's public warranty library has no line called "Classic Mesh" by that exact name. "Advanced Grade Mesh" may be it under a different label, or may be a separate line — worth confirming with your Merlin rep before publishing a warranty length for Classic Mesh specifically.
What's covered (all Merlin cover lines)
- Defects in cover materials or manufacturing, under normal use — only when a qualified installer correctly installed the cover
- Comparable replacement cover if a defect is confirmed
What's excluded (all Merlin cover lines)
- Animal damage
- Fading from sun or chemical exposure
- Damage from sharp objects
- Using a rectangular cover on a non-rectangular (or odd-shaped) pool
- "Coping wear" — abrasion from pool coping or excessive wind movement (Merlin can supply extra protective material; ask your installer about padding or removable coping clips)
- Rubber tension straps and other hardware (Solid XLS/SolidMesh)
- Damage from deck sealants or paints (Solid XLS/SolidMesh)
- Freight, installation, service, or labor costs — repairs/replacements ship F.O.B. Merlin's plant
What voids the warranty
- Misuse, alterations, neglect, abuse, or accident
- Letting pool water fall more than 18 inches below the pool top during snow season
- Using a standard/rectangular cover on an odd or irregularly shaped pool
Transferability & claims
- Non-transferable — covers only the original purchaser at the original installation
- Disclose any failure within the warranty term from the original factory shipping date

Not covered: labor, transportation, and repair materials; refrigerant and other expendables; cosmetic damage/discoloration; vinyl liner pattern removal/abrasion; damage from improper installation, improper chemical balance, freezing, or dirty/clogged/blocked components. Important: this warranty does not apply to Jandy products purchased online/through e-commerce (other than certain valves under 3").
Claim process: contact the original dealer with proof of purchase, model number, serial number, date of purchase, and date of installation — the dealer contacts the factory. If the dealer is unavailable: productsupport@fluidra.com or 1-800-822-7933. A Returned Material Authorization number is required for any returned part.

Claim process: contact your place of purchase or nearest Hayward authorized service center (dealer locator on the warranty page). Proof of purchase is required; if unavailable, the manufacturing date sets the purchase date. Coverage applies only to products bought from Hayward or an authorized seller. Labor, cartage, removal, repair, and installation are generally not covered. Registering your product adds a 90-day extended warranty.
